Side window systems for rail vehicles usually consist of two parts: the glass and the window frame. Depending on the operating speed, the side window glass can be tempered, laminated or insulated.
In addition to protecting passengers from impacts, side window systems provide the right amount of light and comfortable insulation for a pleasant traveling experience.
The rail vehicle front assembly consists of laminated glass and an aluminum frame. The glass is fixed to the aluminum frame by means of bonding and adhesive strips to ensure water and air tightness.
The laminated glass consists of three pieces of glass glued together by high-performance PVB, with a built-in electric heating wire of 0.019mm in diameter,
which can be electrically heated to quickly defrost and defog the glass to ensure the driver's field of vision in harsh environments.
